Haircomb FAQs
-
All periphery haricombs are made with high-quality metal comb bases designed to sustain a reasonable amount of abuse. The wire wraps use multiple strands (4+) of 0.3mm or 2-strand 0.4mm twisting, ensuring shape, form, and impact tolerance.
Generally speaking, your hair combs can:
Sustain general impact, such as falling from a table surface or being accidentally sat on.
Decorative elements can be adjusted slightly
Combtooth can be bent gently for a stronger hold in your hari.
However, as all metals will break eventually under repeated impact, please avoid any frequent bending of the combtooth and design element at sharp angles or back and forth to prevent the metal from snapping.

While there are no right or wrong way of wearing the comb, it is easier if you slide the comb downward with the teeth parallel to your hair (instead of perpendicular, contraty to common misbelief),
-
The natural arch of the comb should fit the shape of your head. That said, you’re welcome to adjust the arch to find your preferred side as the designs are made with multiple angles in mind.

Yes. Short hair can still wear hair combs. If you already have textured hair (wavy or curly), combs will stay easily in your hair regardless of length. If you have light, smooth, silky short hair, we recommend adding a decorative braid or use hidden bobby pins to help secure the comb!
